Tuning is required!
The camshaft will give you a mildly choppy idle with horsepower and torque gains across the power band! This cam picked up 48 horsepower and 23 lb/ft of torque over stock in our dyno tested Hellcat without any optimization to the tuning, and carries power to 7000 RPM with ease using the supplied PAC valve springs.

This kit is intended to change the camshaft with the heads still on the car since the Hellcat is a non MDS engine. The gaskets included with this kit are for that purpose. If you would like to change the lifters or upgrade to the Johnson 2356 set, you will need to purchase a top end gasket set as well.

NOTE: It is vital that with any camshaft, lifter, or valvetrain modification that pushrod length is verified at the time of installation. SDPC provides pushrods that are the correct length with Mopar lifters and our camshafts in most applications.

Hellcat Top End Gasket Kit
Our Reaper cam kit is designed to work with the OEM locks and retainers. For those that want to go the extra mile, we do offer a heavy duty steel retainer or a titanium retainer for those looking to lighten the valvetrain for higher RPM use. Just like any lightweight valvetrain component, we recommend that you inspect your titanium retainers for excessive wear at a consistent interval.
